Step 1 of 7 14% In some cases, for speed or budgetary reasons, our potential customers prefer to receive a quick and fairly accurate estimate of their proposed scheme before arranging a site visit appointment.Transformed Driveways welcome this approach where the potential and costs for a new driveway improvement scheme can considered by the customer before the need for any formalised meetings and documents.Given that this DIY option provides Transformed Driveways with potential cost savings we are happy to pass these savings back to our valued customers in the form of a 10% scheme discount.Accordingly, Transformed Driveways has created the option of a simple 6-step DIY survey where the customer submits the basic scheme information and then promptly receives an emailed estimate of costs and timescales. In the event that the customer is happy with the information received and would like to progress the enquiry further then Transformed Driveways will arrange a site visit in order to accurately measure up the project and formalise a quotation. At this point the customer would have an opportunity to look at samples of the available natural stone finishes. Please remember that the DIY Survey is optional and if you would prefer to arrange a site visit straight off then this is not a problem to us. DIY On-line Survey When measuring your existing driveway area just multiply the length x width in metres and do not ‘bust a gut’ in trying to be too precise as an exact measurement would be undertaken during any subsequent site visit. For odd shaped driveways, you may find it easier to break the area into smaller sections and then add the sub-totals together in order to establish an overall figure.Present driveway type (tick appropriate box)* Block Paving Loose Gravel Imprinted Concrete Tar and Chip Asphalt Concrete Paving Slabs Soft Landscaping If you have a different type of driveway, enter it hereArea of existing driveway*Size in square metresIn which county is the driveway located?*Please selectNot listedAberdeenshireAngleseyAngusArgyllshireAyrshireBanffshireBedfordshireBerkshireBerwickshireBrecknockshireBuckinghamshireButeshireCaernarfonshireCaithnessCambridgeshireCardiganshireCarmarthenshireCheshireClackmannanshireCornwallCromartyshireCumberlandDenbighshireDerbyshireDevonDorsetDumfriesshireDunbartonshireDurhamEast LoathianEssexFifeFlintshireGlamorganGloucestershireHampshireHerefordshireHertfordshireHuntingdonshireInverness-shireKentKincardineshireKinross-shireKirkcudbrightshireLanarkshireLancashireLeicestershireLincolnshireMerionethMiddlesexMidlothianMonmouthshireMontgomeryshireMorayshireNairnshireNorfolkNorthamptonshireNorthumberlandNottinghamshireOrkneyOxfordshirePeeblesshirePembrokeshirePerthshireRadnorshireRenfrewshireRoss-shireRoxburghshireRutlandSelkirkshireShetlandShropshireSomersetStaffordshireStirlingshireSuffolkSurreySussexSutherlandWarwickshireWest LothianWestmorlandWigtownshireWiltshireWorcestershireYorkshireIn which town is the driveway located?*Unfortunately we do not service your area If you need further assistance please call us on 0800 069 9639 Step 2 - Extending Existing Driveway Quite often, homeowners are looking to extend their existing driveway in order to create additional parking space or to ‘soften’ the appearance of the hard-standing area. This is not a problem to Transformed Driveways who will construct any extended areas to match existing levels in order that the extended driveway will all look ‘as one’ once the resin bonded stone has been applied. Just measure any proposed extended area in square metres much the same as in Step 1 above.Area of driveway extensionSize in square metres Step 3 - Edgings & Raised Kerbs As part of the driveway upgrade, customers may opt for new or replacement edgings in order to border and compliment the new resin bonded stone surface. Whilst Transformed Driveways can install any type of edging upon request, the standard choice is ‘Woburn Rumbled’ sets, in graphite or brindle colour, that have a proven performance record when used in conjunction with natural resin bonded stone. To ascertain the amount of edging required just measure the perimeter of the driveway in linear metres and enter the figure in the box below. If no edgings are required then simply leave the box blank. For flower beds and the containment of raised surrounds etc, there is also the option of matching ‘Woburn Rumbled’ kerbs that are installed in conjunction with the sets. The use of these kerbs can also add interest to a new driveway scheme through the change of height and texture.Length of edgings requiredLength in metresLength of kerbs requiredLength in metres Step 4 – Surface Water Drainage In the event that the surface rain water from the proposed driveway upgrade is likely to leave the property and run onto a Public Highway then you will need to install a fairly basic drainage system in order to comply with the Governments 2008 SUDS Regulations (see link). Alternatively, you may just have a problem ‘low spot’ on the driveway or prefer to keep any rainwater away from the property brickwork. In these situations Transformed Driveways will again install a simple drainage system that will be piped into a new or existing soak-away in order to alleviate any surface drainage problems.Drainage system is required Yes Step 5 - Additional Works As part of a resin bonded stone scheme, Transformed Driveways are happy to undertake additional associated works in order to provide its customers with a comprehensive ‘one stop shop’ service. These additional works may include natural stone paving, fencing, walling, railings or other forms of hard landscaping all of which fall under the terms of Transformed Driveways 5-year guarantee. In the event that you would like additional hard landscaping works included in your project estimate then please enter the relevant description and approximate measurements in the box below. Again, do not panic overly in going into too much detail here and we will just email you for a tad more information if necessary.Additional works details Step 6 – Survey SubmissionName* First Last Phone*Email* Additional InformationNow, just press the ‘submit’ button and we will get to work on estimating the cost of your proposed driveway transformation scheme with your 10% discount.CommentsThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
